A Halloween party to remember

November 2nd, 2009, by

Every now and then I get all mushy with you guys. For the ladies who attended our ladies only event, you all got to see me get reduced to a puddle of tears as I thanked you all for being brave enough to be strong.

Well now you ALL get to see the mushy side of me!

I want to thank everyone who came to the Halloween party. I know I speak for Bill when I say that it's truly amazing to have you as our CrossForters and our friends. Looking around on Saturday night I saw 50 smiling faces, and my life felt SO FULL in a way that it's never been full before. You guys mean so much to me! HUG!

The Halloween party was SO fun! I know this is a Facebook repeat, but I felt it appropriate to post this on our blog as well.

You know it's a good party when:

#1 - It takes you 2 days to clean up the mess
#2 - There are portable breathalyzer tubes all over the floor
#3 - There are remnants of no less than 9 costumes scattered about
#4 - There are 9 empty bottles of tequila on the table
#5 - It's 3AM and nobody wants to go home
#6- The police come knocking in the door, and people actually "hid"
#7 - Nobody had to get a ride to the hospital from Sparky
#8 - The pictures posted online make me blush

  • Jennie your so sweet!! HUGS to you both!! That was a great party!! Cant wait for the next one! hehe It was fun to hang out with such a great bunch of people that definelty know how to party! :-)

  • I have to say my favorite moment at the party was watching Super-Dave scroll through Bill's ipod to see what kind of tunes were on there for dancing and the like as I was curiously eyeing over his shoulder as he was scrolling to see the cursor stop on Celine Dion, he looked right at me and said "what the @&*!, that was freakin hilarious. That said hopefully we won't be working out to the tune of "My Heart Will Go On" anytime soon.

  • I would like to clear up the iPod confusion. You see, that black iPod once belonged to The Mayor. I purchased it from him and never cleared off any of the music. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some pretty lame music, but Celine Dion doesn't make my cut.
