There are just some workouts that make people cringe. For Brian, he cringes when he sees lots of squats, I cringe when I see running, and for Brittany, her cringe workouts include copious amounts of pull-ups. To be fair, she HAS good pull-ups, and she's stronger than an Ox...she just needs to work on the timing for her kip. If anyone else needs help working their kip, please try and incorporate it into every visit to the Fort. Getting this kipping technique down will help your pull-ups become more efficient, and overall, you'll be sexier.
The workout last night was:
AMRAP in 20:00 of
Run 400 meters
Max set of pull-ups
Your final score will be your total number of pull-ups. If you can only get 3-4 pull-ups at a time, this workout soon turns into a LOT of running. We had Super Dave and Super Dawn both there for the 7PM class, and you guys did great! Ladies, watch out for Super Dawn - she's faster than a speeding bullet, and she's secretly a VERY competitive person. I expect great things from her in the next 90 days. None of our rowing or running records are safe as long as Super Dawn keeps coming consistently. Her legs are at least 80% of her total body height, and she's FAST.
