So? How'd you guys do without us? I hear Zach put together a pretty intense Team Saturday workout for you guys. Tee hee. I knew he'd take good care of you.
Yesterday we started with our strength work, which was hang power cleans 3-3-3-1-1-1. We had quite a few PR's yesterday. Congrats to Kris, Carrie, Audra, Dad and Heath! Great job!
Since sectionals looked like so much fun, we thought we'd let ALL OF YOU try the workout too! The metcon was for max reps/calories of:
5:00 row
4:00 box jumps (24/20")
3:00 hang snatch (35/20kg)
2:00 wall ball (20/14lbs)
1:00 handstand push-ups
Everyone did fabulous! This workout was definitely harder than I thought it was going to be. It's pretty amazing that our Games hopefuls got such amazing scores after doing two VERY hard workouts prior to this one. You guys impress me EVERY DAY!
Is anyone interested in getting either a VO2 max, resting metabolic rate, or body fat test done? I put a sign up list on the white board at the Fort. Just add your name to the list. We have to get a minimum of 12 tests for Ultimate Test Labs to come out, so please indicate which tests you would like done. I know we had about 8 people RSVP on the facebook group, but if you don't mind also signing up on the white board, that would be SUPER.
VO2 max $65

Resting Metabolic Rate $50
All three: $150
You'll pay for your tests directly to Ultimate Test Labs this Saturday. Keep in mind that if you'd like to know your resting metabolic rate, the test needs to be done before you work out.

Workout was awesome! It got heavy pretty quick on the deadlifts but the rotation made for great motivation and an excellent workout!
