Get a Grip, and then eat some turkey!

Team Saturday was another full house! We even had a traveling CrossFitter from Dallas that dropped in for the fun. We welcomed our guest with one of our FAVORITE Team Saturday workouts!

"Get a Grip"
100 reps of:
1 dead lift (40/30)
1 hang power clean
1 front squat
1 push press

The bar may NEVER rest on the ground - it should be passed from one partner to the other. Before your partner can have a turn with the bar, they must complete a 400m run.

Yeah, there's a big suck factor with this workout. I don't think I've ever had to run while stretching my forearms before. Most of our teams finished in under 26:00, with our winning team coming in at a blazing fast 17:22! Nice job Garth and Pete!

I would like to just point out that ALL THE OTHER TEAMS thought of catchy team names, but Garth and Pete were just.....Garth & Pete. You two should have been given a 3:00 penalty for not coming up with a cool name. ;-)

Paleo Thanksgiving was a SMASH success! A huge thank you goes out to Jeanne and Ed for opening their house to us CrossForters. Did you guys know what you were getting into?! I think Jeanne sold her soul for that great weather...it couldn't have been better!
