Yesterday we started with hang power snatches. I want to share a new rule of the Fort with all of you. If you are not hook gripping your cleans and snatches, there will be a 5 burpee penalty. If we're going to get serious about our Oly lifts (and we're ALWAYS serious here) then we'll all need to hook grip. Does it hurt? YES. SUCK IT UP. It hurts my thumb to hook grip too, but I know it'll make my lifts stronger. Coach Burgener cries every time you do burpees for not hook gripping. Don't make Coach B cry.
We had a bunch of people set PR's in the snatch. Our victories were quickly doubled when we had even MORE people PR at Diane. Diane is:

Congratulations to Matt W for doing all of his HSPU's without the band! Great job! I know that after yesterday most of us added HSPU's to our list of "things to work on".
