Nutrition

The way we eat determines how we live.  If you're not feeding your body the proper balance of food, you won't get the most out of your workout or your life.  With only half the effort, you will achieve only half the results.  We gladly offer free nutritional counseling and support to any of our clients.  Just see Bill before or after any group class. 

Our nutritional lifestyle is paleo.  We don't say "diet" because diet implies that it is a fad, and temporary.  Is paleo hard to follow?  Only if you're not committed.  All we ask is that our clients TRY IT for a month.  It's only a month!  Who couldn't commit to something for a month!?  If after one month you don't see any results, then by all means, continue doing what you're doing. 

Forget the philosophy that if you eat in moderation and count your calories that you'll meet your fitness goals.  (unless you're ok with only living a moderately long life, and being moderately healthy)  That's what most of America believes, and it's FALSE.  Here's the truth (if you can handle it) NOT ALL CALORIES ARE CREATED EQUAL.  There are countless resources throughout the CrossFit Community that can help you make the transition to paleo.  Robb Wolf or Art De Vany's blogs are a good place to start.  We have found Robb's Performance Menu to be a tremendous help when trying to make the transition.
