Seriously?

Seriously? That's what each and every person said when they saw "The Filthy Fifty" as the workout yesterday. Hey, by the way, do you guys remember that week when all the workouts were really hard, and we all thought Bill was trying to kill us? OH YEAH, THAT'S THIS WEEK.

The Filthy Fifty as prescribed is:

50 Box Jumps, (24/20 inch box)
50 Jumping Pull-ups
50 Kettlebell Swings (16/12)
50 Walking Lunge Steps
50 Knees to Elbows
50 Push Presses (20/15)
50 Back Extensions
50 Wall Ball Shots (20/14 pound ball)
50 Burpees
50 Double Unders

This is a HARD workout, much like the workout on Monday. My prediction is that we will have an empty gym on Wednesday and possibly Thursday due to these two hard workouts being back to back. I promise guys...if you just come and work through the soreness, you'll feel better.

My ladies class did AMAZING! More and more ladies are stepping up to heavier weights, and still CRUSHING their old times. PR's are soooo much sweeter when you PR at a heavier weight.

Look at these ladies! They're like the friggin' Rockettes! Their KB swings were completely in unison.

  • ...despite what one may think, after the last two days of near death workouts, the 5:30 class this morning was full to the brim w/ 9 attendees....great job on getting to 5 cycles on the last round, Garth -- way to push through!!!

  • Great job this morning everyone! It was fun having 9 people working the graveyard shift this morning. I don't know about everyone else, but my shoulders were tight this morning still from Monday's workout. I didn't make it in yesterday; but to everyone that did the "Filthy Fifty" yesterday and then came in this morning for "The Chief" great job!

    Garth, Tom, Pete you guys are machines!

  • Sparky is it called "Green Beer & Burpees" because when you do your burpees the beer comes back up green?

  • I'll echo Matt L's comments. We had a very full class this morning for what I affectionately call the "Graveyard Gang." Great time and everyone in their busting their azzes!

    Never did "The Chief" before but it was really a great blast.

    Nice job to all of you guys - really competitive today and a $hitload of effort being put forth. Way to go guys!

    Granted, I'd probably be in the hospital laid up with a catheter and IV right now if I had! I thought I was crazy but Tom and Matt get the crown this week.

  • That link was brutal and it kept going, going... I do not eat that healthy (or have plans to) butthat website made me sick. Most of the stuff looks like restaraunts were making that stuff.
