GRACE. Sounds unintimidating, doesn't it? Headquarters might as well have named it, "easy and relaxing". This workout ranks right up there with Fran in terms of workouts that we CrossFitters memorize. Your Fran time and your Grace time are probably two times that you know off the top of your head, right? We're all a little crazy, but at least we know what's important.
30 reps for time:
30 clean & jerk (60/40kg)
(get the bar from the floor to overhead any way any how)
What this means is that between reps your barbell must come to rest on the ground, and to complete the rep you must have it locked out overhead with stiff legs. Some people clean and thruster the bar, others power clean and push press the bar. Greg Glassman doesn't particularly care, so long as you get that weight from the floor to overhead. At the Fort we have rules around this WOD...particularly that we don't want people doing snatches. Are we mean? Sure, but you guys already knew that.
A big congrats goes out to Pete for finishing this WOD in sub 2:00!
