Wake up tushey…time to WORK!

Yesterday started out a lot of fun! Heavy thrusters are VERY challenging, and they're definitely a full body workout. Our strength work was thrusters 5-5-5+.

After we got our legs and buns nice and sore, we moved into the workout:

500m row
3 rounds of:
2 trips overhead walking lunges (20/15kg)
2 trips broad jumps
and then
500m row

*2 trips = from the pull-up bar to the door and back.

Did you guys know that broad jumps are an abs exercise? Know what else works your abs? Holding heavy stuff above your head while you're lunging. I have had more than a few people contact me saying that their legs, abs and buns are VERY sore after yesterday's workout. Who woulda thunk it? :-)

I wanted to say WELCOME to our newest member Kathy! Kathy and her crew completed ramp-up a couple weeks ago, and last night was her first official class. Congratulations and welcome!

Some people take their workouts a little more seriously than others do...
