We got stood up!

Guys, this is serious. I showed up to the Fort last night at 5:15PM, and the only person there was Bill. He was laying in the middle of the floor with his head propped up on a foam roller, playing with his iPhone. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. You guys have to help me keep Bill occupied during the day. If he's not occupied he's likely to get himself in trouble with gang violence, illegal drugs, or worse: ONLINE SHOPPING.

Other than the 5PM class, there were live human beings at our other class times. It was a great change of pace from the grip intense workouts of the last two days.

Strength work:

Front squats
3-3-3

Metcon:

9 rounds for time of:
10 box jumps (24")
10 push ups

I have to say that this workout caught up to people MUCH faster than I thought. It's the ran-out-of-push-ups phenomenon that I see from time to time. What IS that anyways? the 6PM class was the only class I watched, and everyone did GREAT. It's nice to finally have Matt Lohmann back at the Fort! He always brings his A-game, even when he's nursing an injury! I kept having to reposition where I was standing during the 6PM class because it kept "raining" on me. Gross.

Pete and Tom, wish I could have been there at 5:30AM to see you both in action. Sub 5:30? Really? You two are amazing! Great work!

  • Well, definitely not sub 5:30, but I was using a 26" box... I kinda sound like Garth now.
