THIS GUY!
I'll be honest....there's a little part of me that is considering eliminating that fun little thing where people get to pick the WOD on their birthday. What is it that drives you to choose the HARDEST workouts ever!? Brittany picked Caleb...Tommy Mo picked Captain America....Sheesh!
Captain America:
800m run
and then
5 rounds of:
3 clean & jerk (80/55kg)
6 chest to bar pull-ups
9 clapping push-ups
and then
800m run
25:00 DNF
The metcon was so long, that Bill eliminated our strength/skill work so we could get warmed up and started.
Even though it ranked really high on the suck-o-meter, everyone did a great job. The clean & jerks were VERY heavy!
The Birthday Boy worked out with the 7PM class, and I think we had about 9 of us all doing the workout together. Here are a few highlights from the 7PM class:
1. Brittany got a 10 second head start for wearing her CrossFit Fire tall socks
2. Brian can run so fast, that he passed me at the 400m turnaround point, and he was on his way BACK.
3. Brittany and I both had the unfortunate luck of some sneaky leprechaun adding invisible weight to our bars while we were running, because it was heavier when we got back.
4. Garth can't count.

Don't look at me! We had to do 15 total clean and jerks but I only have 10 fingers

First of all let me ask Jennie to keep that tradition of Birthday WOD's going until Feb 24th, as I have had to put up with some other birthday wods that were bad, it's only fair that we all have our day. As far as this one goes, Tom standing the 5pm-ers up aside, it wasn't that bad. I heard my immediate trip to the Fort 'john' after the WOD was over created a bit of a buzz, let me assure you all was well that ended well, just dropping a few extra lbs for my final photo. Great job Tom sub 20min Rx'd is pretty ridiculous.

Has to be one of Garth's best comments. Nicely done, Show!
Mark - Thanks for the props brother! Trying to keep up with your lean bad-self. My apologies for the last minute change of plans and not being able to join the 5pm-ers.

Happy B-Day Tommy Mo! Sorry I missed it.

I didn't pick Kalsu... It was Caleb. I would hate me too if I picked Kalsu as a birthday WOD.

Yeah, I was gonna say, I remember the famous exchange between Tom and Brit during the WOD. "Remember, when this gets hard...YOU picked it!"
